Afford to Live, Plan, & Dream

THE PEOPLE’S AGENDA

We the People are working hard — but rising costs keep our futures on the backburner and our dreams out of reach.

In 2026 the uber-rich are getting richer, the upper-middle is feeling strapped, and the middle class is struggling to survive. I’m running to bring costs down, wages up, and restore some breathing room to everyday life.

Affordability isn’t about ideology — it’s about whether families can pay the bills, raise kids, and plan for the future. Politicians who politicize paying the bills have no place in Congress. I’ll focus on practical solutions that lower everyday costs, grow good-paying jobs, and reward hard work.

Priorities:

  • Lower costs on groceries and protect programs that keep kids across America fed

  • Lower utilities and energy costs and protect our energy infrastructure against greater strain and higher costs from AI data centers

  • Lower child care costs and improve access so parents can work and kids can thrive in South Carolina where we have one of the highest child care to income ratios in the US

  • Lower rent and home prices by expanding housing supply through government incentives and tax credits

  • Raise wages and more good-paying jobs that are close to home

  • Ensure fair tax and trade policies that lower costs for working families and make billionaires and corporations pay their fair share
