We the People need consistent access to quality healthcare we can afford.
I will fight so every American has consistent access to quality health care at a price they can afford — without fear, confusion, or surprise bills.
Health care should work for patients, not insurance companies or corporate shareholders. I’ll focus on lowering costs, expanding access — especially in rural communities — and ensuring care decisions are made by patients and doctors, not politicians.
This administration promised lower costs, but instead, GOP policies raised prices and increased the costs of insurance premiums and healthcare, all to give another tax break to billionaires.
As your Congresswoman, I will always put you, your family, and your confidence in health care quality, availability, and affordability first.
Priorities:
Lower costs on insurance premiums, prescription drugs, and out-of-pocket costs
Protect coverage by improving the Affordable Care Act (ACA) and reversing dangerous cuts to ACA subsidies, Medicare, and Medicaid
Reform insurance pre-authorization to ensure that insurance companies do not deny patients necessary medication and treatments
Save rural hospitals and expand mental healthcare access state and nationwide
Improve health care quality that puts patients over corporate profits
Ensure patient and parent rights to keep politics out of the doctor’s office to ensure accurate, scientific standards of care
End crippling medical debt for the 1 in 4 South Carolinians who are struggling to pay their medical bills
